Dawnly ("the app") is developed by Elie Garcia, an independent developer based in France. This policy explains what data the app handles — and the short version is: almost none, and nothing leaves your device.
None. Dawnly has no user accounts, no analytics trackers, no advertising SDKs, and no server. We cannot see who you are, what verses you read, or how you use the app.
The app saves your preferences (name, language, theme, reminder time), your favorite verses, and your reading streak locally on your device. This data never leaves your phone and is deleted when you uninstall the app.
Subscriptions are processed entirely by Google Play. Payment information is handled by Google and never reaches us. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in the Google Play app under Payments & subscriptions. Google's privacy policy applies to the payment process: policies.google.com/privacy.
Daily reminders are local notifications scheduled by your own device. No push server is involved.
The app contains no objectionable content, no social features, and collects no data, making it safe for all ages.
If a future version of the app changes how data is handled (for example, adding optional anonymous analytics), this policy will be updated before that version is released.
